I finally got around to reading this.

Hina should really know better. Though how did Smoker learn Disco in the first place? Let alone good enough to beat Django and Fullbody.

Ace, also is very mysterious in his ability to know that Smoker would be there even with Smoker not knowing.

I have absolutely no idea how they won (although the music video for 'Murder on the Dancefloor' springs to mind XD).

As for knowing about the disco - there's actually a time-skip of about a week between Hina's demanding it of him and the competition, but I obviously didn't make that obvious. More importantly however, Ace has SMOKER-SENSE and can detect what Smoker is doing and where from anywhere in the world. If you check the manga, you'll find this is canon. I think.
