We did have a "checking in" discussion last weekend (not the one that just ended) where he did verify/reiterate everything he's said up to this point re: marriage and/or children.
I've done a lot of thinking today (a lot). I've decided that I'm going to drop it. Let it go. At least FOR NOW. I'm going to take it back to the beginning and try to return to the enjoying it for what it is for as long as it lasts, trusting that it will work out the way it's meant to work out. I know that's a very passive approach (and I'm not sure how successful I'll be), but in the past I've found that the only way to gain control of myself is to let go of my quest to control everything (if that makes the slightest bit of sense).
