Yeah, I noticed.

I'm not going to write to try to change your mind, but there are some things which you have written that make me wonder.

Ok, I've written some stuff below, and I have some questions about some things which you have written that aren't clear to me.

You're my friend, and a close friend of my sister and girlfriend. I enjoy you a lot, and I hope you don't mind discussing this.

1. All my life, I was surrounded by really great people, a few of whom served God with their hearts. I heard from them that the Bible is the Message of God, it is a Living thing, and it is as valid for me today as it was for those who heard it thousands of years ago.

I think that many things in the Bible ought to be interpreted in their context, but yeah, I think it is valid today, I think it is God's inspired word. It is also the story of God's interaction with people, our place in God's creation, our fall and redemption. It's so much more than a message.

2. I don't agree. When I've read the Bible, I felt that the majority of it doesn't ( ... )

You know what Anne? You are my most favorite person to discuss religion with. Know why? Because even when we don't agree, I can always respect your opinions, and understand where you're coming from. I believe that religion is just one of those things that you have to go and find your own pathway in. I'm proud of you for being honest with how you feel, and I just wanted to say that I have always admired that about you ( ... )

I've had this discussion before with Roxanne, so I won't get into that.

Part of the joy that I take in faith in Christ is walking on one path alongside those I love. I hope you take what I have written as an expression of love and concern as well.
