People shit on the streets of Berkeley the way dogs shit on the streets of Belmont Shore during one of Justin Rudd's "Haute Dog" parades. I am thoroughly disgusted. If it weren't for the copious amount of trees here, or the appealing courses offered by the university, I'd be back home by now.

I made a friend. My first real, hopefully lifelong friend up in Berkeley. If I weren't with Steven I would marry her now that gay marriage is (at least for the moment) legal in California. Very exciting.
