See...this part. Just. Ah. Frannnnkih. Seriously. I am flailing.

That last sentence pretty much blew up all hope for a happy ending. Or, logically, it should've if I wasn't determined to beat you into letting them be happy together. But anyway.

I know you are fantastic at packing a lot of emotion into very clean, simple narrative, but this chapter exploded with that fact. Every word was loaded with something, to the point of feeling kind of choked up while reading. It was beautiful, in all honestly.

The interaction with Tim and Conor was one of those times where you read something and just breathe out a "Finally." And the flashbacks were done, as always, with such absolute flawlessness.

D: I don't want this to ennnnd. Especially not unhappily

I am sorry, I really cannot promise happy endings. But I'm so glad you liked this, and yeah. The two of them needed to reconnect somewhere, and hey, trauma always brings people together!

SO i'm pretty sure i just walked into a chapter of a story and i have no idea what's going on. but either way, I liked the style. it was very simple but portrayed everything very well.

but, yes, i need to read the rest of this, i think? haha

This makes me sad, tim and conor belong together damn it! Although that said maybe they're just addicted to each other and they need to but the ties of co-dependency

It's a complicated situation, I think. I'm still not a hundred percent okay with where this might go. It's a little up in the air.

Maybe I don't know you as well as I think I do, but, I really still have faith that there might be a happy ending here. You just. Of course Conor's more grown-up now, and he wants to do what he thinks is right, but Tim is right for him, and he's right for Tim. That's just. How it works. In this verse, anyway. I don't know, that's what I got out of it.

I liked this. I really love the security of what Conor feels with David and Gillian. That goodbye was really heartbreaking but he needed it, like, it felt like a birth. Kind of. Like they were this warm, safe place for him and then he was being thrust into this new place, but willingly, very serenely. I'm sorry I'm not expressing it more clearly, but this made me so sad and happy at the same time. They need each other, they do. I want this to be okay in the end.

I'm not sure how to end this. I'm really, really not. But I'm not inclined towards happy endings. I'll see, I guess.

I'm glad you liked this. I wasn't so sure of it, while I was writing it. And I hope it's gonna be okay, but I'm not sure it will be.
