We have a big trash can at work that we throw our shred in and some company picks it up when it gets full and takes it away. Last time they came I asked them what they do after they shred the stuff and they said it's used to make industrial toilet paper... I've stopped throwing paperclips and staples in there. : )

Becky's parents buy the cheap, thin, sandpaper-like toilet paper. they said that they once had the toilet clog from the softer stuff, and after that, they started buying the cheaper stuff.

I hate using the toilet paper at their house.
