I just found out today that I'm not as fucked up as I always thought I was.  As per Jim's directive - born from the discussions he and I sometimes have - I searched the web for facts on autism and/or places, methods, or treatments that would help with it.

Some backstory:  From 2 years old on, I showed impressive comprehension, learning and reasoning

*smile* It's a point to start from, if nothing else. The best part is that I have strengths to work with to get over/through/around the bad things. The battle's far from over, but the slope is less steep now, at least.
