the movie report: The Girl

Um, yeah.

Why do lesbian films suck so much? WHY???

The Girl was way pretentious in a bad way. The lack of dialogue got severely annoying. There were some nice moments in juxtaposing images, but that was about it. Oh, and "the painter" looked like Justine Frischmann for a brief moment, which was sort of hot.

eep, i know how it is... i'm sure you've seen "lost and delirious"

and yet, so many dykes like any dyke movie... i mean, of course i'm glad that there ARE syke movies, but... argh, whatever.

I've seen almost every single dyke movie with the hope that there will be a gem in there somewhere...there are so few *good* films. Argh.

Ugh...Lost and Delirious was just annoying.

It's interesting though because many gay (male) movies have much better production values/acting/themes than most lesbian films.

I like Better Than Chocolate, but it's still sort of amateurish and cheesey. I think All Over Me is a decent film as well. But I'm A Cheerleader is one of the best of the bunch, I think.
