Melancholy as the tone was, I adored this fic, more than I could communicate to you, mostly (surprisingly enough) because of the ironically intimate connection it forges between Shisui and death.

I don't know how you did in less than 500 words what I've been trying to communicate since The Decemberist's beginning, but you did, and did so brilliantly.
