1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
became completely, successfully, financially independant

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i tried. it's hard to pick up EVERY penny you see, especially when adam grabs them first.

a co-worker puched out a goober in september and now she's pregnant again already

unfortunately, no

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
a gen-u-ine fiance'

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
halloween weekend, because of all the good stuff that i did in bellingham, and also because i got sick that ended up almost being pneumonia; Nov. 26, when i finished my nano novel; early april, for the Coast Hike, having breakfast in Nevada at 1am with thesynergizer

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting out of hastings and into HAPO

yes

a full-size bed, so i wouldn't have to sleep on the floor anymore

adam, for his dedication to his kids

staples like rent and food, and now cell phone and cable modem; spoiling adam

yes, tri-citians are easy to hate. it spreads here like tumbleweed. they're a hateful bunch.

i read so much this year. i really, really loved "White Noise" by Don Delillo and "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair

Elliott Smith, re-discovering Howie Day

an adult-like life

further away from family but closer to friends

Mean Girls was good, Alfie was hot, Shrek 2 was really funny, Supersize Me made me think

i threw a party, got really drunk, ate some cake, yadda yadda yadda.... 23

having my taylor cake and eating it too, being more responsible with my money

the election, the unending racism here

Kathleen a great deal, Taylor an immense amount, my cousins, my friends in Bellingham... and i still miss my ex, but my aim is improving (same joke as last year)

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Taylor, by an overwhelming majority, but becoming close friends with Meghan and Jen warmed my heart like no other

corporate america can suck my cock (if i had one. then again, if i had one, corporate america would probably be kissing my ass instead). also, every stereotype you've ever heard about rednecks/eastern WA/the miswest/conservative republicans is TRUE, sadly.
