Jeff briefly updated me on your CM gig and the semi-unfortunate sabbatical of your literature professor this past Saturday when we ate exquisite vegetarian meals (the little dishes and sticks of soybean products that just looked too precious to eat > _ <) at the temple famous for the 昭和大仏 (the biggest one in Aomori Prefecture), and I complained about how you don't update your LJ anymore...and then I see your entry! ^ _ ^
Not that I don't watch enough TV already...but the chances of catching your CM gives me one more good reason to worship the TV-god even more! ^ o ^ I don't know why, but Sekisui House just floated into my head...which company is it?
My mom came to visit for a week and left yesterday. It is funny how I step out of tourist mode after the real tourist leaves.
By the way, what are you doing for Golden Week? I might go camping around neighboring prefectures, but then again, I am not much for the outdoors * _ *q

sorry I've been such a shitty updater, and shitty email respondant. I suck. =(
no plans for golden week so far, though there are tentative plans to go to naoshima and stay in a yurt on the beach with a group of friends some time in the summer... you have to book way in advance. we haven't got a time-table set up yet, but you're invited if you're interested! I hear it's tearfully pretty.
hope you have fun camping! it sounds like adventure. I've been warned by one of my professors that I will have no time for fun. (Russian accent) "No Time For Fun!" (finger wagging) actually he didn't say it like that at all, but I wish he had
