My Japanese teacher brought nato to class once for us to try it. I couldn't get past the smell to try. Plus, either my professor or her TA hated it, I can't remember which one, so that was enough inducement for me not to feel guilty about not trying it.
So don't feel bad; lots of native japanese folks hate it too! ;)

And I'm not sure yet. Depends on what happens. Contract is just till the end of March, but I may end up staying a bit longer. Tis all in the air.
