There's hardly been time to breathe in RL lately, let alone post to LJ, and my online world has slipped significantly. I have been AWOL and deeply neglected my LJ friends :( I'm sorry, guys! (She says, to the empty room.)

I work at my local museum - had stupid amounts of overtime there lately - and also do the payroll, invoicing and expenses for my dad's company. Been hunting like crazy for a degree-relevant job too... sure something will come along though. How about you, what are you up to these days?

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong, I know I'm lucky to have a job at all, it just feels my degree was fairly pointless atm. Sorry to hear about your job falling through, but hopefully the Msc will work out and lead to something longterm and fulfilling.
What are you going to study?

Outside of work, there's a little meeting up with friends and writing when I can/have the inspiration. I would love to be coming to the Merlin meets still, but am no longer living in London (I'm also back living with the 'rents) and can't really walk at the moment, through knee problems. But as soon as my legs are fixed, I'll be on the train to join the meets again :)

Hi, good to see you too! I'm good, just been a bit stressed lately, stretching myself a bit thin, you know. Off on hols in a few hours, though, looking forward to a bit of relaxation :)

I'm still in Gloucester, just been promoted so I'm earning more money. Not much else has happened otherwise. I'm glad you've got a job, though!

Ooh, glad to hear about the promotion, well done! Yeah, very glad to have a job at present, though still looking for something full time, rather than juggling part-time bits and bobs.
