Idly he plucked a string, testing the sound for a moment, listening as the wind ripped the notes away.
It was quiet, but not for long, this was where he went to play standing at the edge of one of the piers so he wouldn’t disturb anyone in the city.

Head still back and eyes still closed, a rare expression of pure joy playing across his face.
Playing made him feel free, the notes carrying away his thoughts for a short while, leaving only a pleasnt tingling behind.

He stayed silent, waiting for Jeremy to finish on his own time and notice him.

Time seemed to fly when he was out here, unlike in the labs where it felt as though he was the only thing moving at a normal pace, the rest of the world in slow motion.
Time for a short break.
He gently rested the instrument on the ground, stretching out and turning, the smile returning to his face as he spotted Chris, "Hey."

He laughed, nervously, his other hand wrapping around Jeremy's waist, pulling him closer. "So, does this mean we're dating now?"

Eyes half closed he studied Chris, a vauge smile tugging at his lips, "I would like that." he replied quietly, before flushing, "If that is what you would like?" now the words were hesitant, almost nervous as he wrapped his arms around the other, waiting.

From the look on his face it was clear that he thought the same thing.
When he finally spoke, the words were low, "I never saw the point...in dating...like you said...a waste of time." he smiled at nothing, "This dosen't seem like a waste of time."

To tell the truth, he had not planned on going back to Earth.
Ever.
If they were going to try and ship him back, he would take his stuff and move to another planet.
But it would be nice to go back with someone he cared about.
