I haven't written much about the pregnancy in part because I've been so busy (again with the work) and partly because there's been very little to say. I've had no real problems and just a couple of annoyances. The annoyances that surprised me: leg cramps (like wake-you-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-crying-out-in-pain leg cramps) and, most recently, pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel syndrome (or at least that's what Dr. Internet says it is). Besides these, everything else was at least expected: I look very funny, bending over sucks, and I have to pee most of the time.

I have (as of yet) experienced absolutely no real rude or pushy behavior from strangers, which may make me the only pregnant woman ever to no get publicly manhandled. Do I just look mean?

I'm getting impatient for her to show up, but there's still a bunch to do (I'm trying to have everything but the grading done for next term, as I only have 2 weeks off work) before she gets here, so it would be good if she waited a bit longer. I keep reminding myself that she's a helluva lot easier to take care of right now than she will be when she's out in the world. She's due to arrive 2 weeks from today (!) and thus she will be here, no matter what, in 4 weeks or less.

And that, I suppose is the state of the Jinx and the mini-Jinx. See? Most boring pregnant woman ever.
