R.I.P. Elvin JonesDead at 76 from heart failure. I'd heard he was really ill about a month ago, but the reports were sketchy. Unfortunately, they proved to be right. At least he's been reunited with Coltrane and his brother Thad, among the many other jazz legends he knew before

we're losing all our legendary musicians, only to be replaced with teenybopper crap, and mindless pop punk that's not going to mean anything to anyone in 100 years from now
