Bordertown

Bordertown is a skatepark built under an overpass in a rough park of west Oakland. It was built entirely by volunteers and the kids who skate there, without any proper permission or backing. CalTrans just discovered it and has made noises about removing it. These are my pictures of it.














Facing one way, then the other, from the chained-up main entrance. Hence the name, perhaps.
