Just arrived in PDX this morning via Greyhound from Ukiah, which I reached by hitching from Santa Rosa, to which I took a bus after missing the SFO->PDX Greyhound. A bit of a slog, but no regrets. I'd rather have said goodbye to San Francisco the way I did than have got that bus on time, if that were the choice
