Today was kind of mind-numbing at work: A long staff meeting followed by a slow to materialize afternoon where we did a site-visit for what will be our new office. It's right in the heart of downtown Berkeley, which is cool because it's on the BART line and it's surrounded by great food, great stores and a plethora of movie theatres/entertainment. I was raised Catholic. I became stronger in my faith when i joined youth groups & sang in choir on Sundays & continued my own route in my faith.... slowly i just became a Easter/ Christmas church goer & occasionally just go to Sunday Mass on my own when i really feel like it.. not 'cause i have to... & now I"m like more Spiritual than Religous, but i still hold my Catholic Faith in high regards :)

Oh yeah.. sounds like you'll be workin in Shattuk :) Maybe we can meet for lunch sometime Hon :)

With my mother being an RN, I was taught pretty early on about puberty, menstruation, sex, and birth. By the time I was 10 or so, I was teaching other kids about what was going on with their bodies. I also couldn't understand why it was so damn horrible (in my Christian WV city) to be attracted to people of the same gender. Hell, *I* thought women were pretty and soft and fun... why shouldn't everyone else, right ( ... )
