I am finishing up my year at my school. It is extremely emotional for all of my students. Their final exhibitions have been incredible, moving and serious rites of passage for them all as a group and individually

in your dream of life, what would you be doing for work next year?

Such a good question. I got a job I am pretty excited about. But, it is working in a private school with kids who hold a lot of privilege. So, that challenges me. But, the work itself is very exciting. i will be a health and human development educator.. i.e. counselor and holder of the culture of community, training staff and parents about how to be a healthy community. The school is K-8, so it is with pretty young ones..

In my dream of life I wouldnt work, I would travel the world with e-shem. But, if I had to work, I would have a cafe/flower/book shop with wifi where teachers and educators and scholars of all kind would come and do workshops, it would be a gallery of sorts too and it would be lovely.. In this dream, there are no stressful bills or overhead, so I could really enjoy the runnings of it.
