I got to reading this, the Hippocratic Oath, in the usual way, someone mentioned something that got me to wondering, “What does this say/mean exactly anyway? We are all so good at remembering in a general way the things that have some meaning to what we say, but often we neglect to go to the source and really read what was written. Is it any wonder that the deeper medicine goes to unlock the “cure” for cancer, autoimmune diseases, genetic defects, etc., they keep coming up with nutritional deficiencies on a cellular level ( ... )

Yes, absolutely...we are so polluted on so many levels, yet our current medical modalities are increasing this strain..leading to greater and greater deficiencies and genetic anomalies, increasing our need for medical intervention. Rather than providing us with a magic bullet cure, that are perpetuating the problems. I believe it is when the medical profession believes it is their "job" to "cure" that we get into all this trouble. One becomes enamoured with the idea of being "savior" for such and such a disease by an application of measureable reaction to a particular modality and they lose sight of the wonder and profundity of being a healer. A healer, in contrast, is one that recognizes the inherent capacity of the sick to find the space wherein healing occurs and that a healer's position is merely to assist by love, compassion and wise application of only those things necessary to bring relief, comfort and most importantly, the essential building blocks whereby the body, mind and spirit can create its own perfect state of wellness ( ... )
