Ok so the past 6 attempts have been failures due to weather...but TODAY! Today is a different day. I was scheduled to go flying at 7am this morning but the weather sucked. Clouds at 400ft. visibility 1 mile...and mist...I soft-scheduled for 7am. My hard schedule is 2:30pm, and the difference is that my hard schedule is the time DWC gave me to go ( Read more... )

H'okay, so here's an update...It was a beautiful day today...calm winds, clear skies, and everything else. I got to go flying...along with 38,000 bazillion other people. I got up in the air with my instructor and did about 5 landings to get back in the swing of things...considering I haven't flown in a week. So after that I dropped her off and it was 4pm...the sun sets at 4:30 and the rules say I can't solo half an hour before sunset, but Adrienne is awesome and got me waived. So I taxied to the active runway and waited there for 20 mins solo...After that the sun had set and I had to taxi back to the ramp and park the plane, so I have to do this lesson again due to the lack of time I had. This absolutely sucks because I was alone in the plane solo and I couldn't takeoff because it was getting dark. It was one big tease, and it sucks majorly...WHY CAN'T I JUST SOLO!!! Dagnabbit!

I swear, you've waited an unbelievably long time.
hopefully, you'll get to solo soon.
hopefully today. that would be nice.
