or are you just in teh PSAT mode? yeah i am. all day i was saying weird stuff from the PSATs and talking properly and stuff it was weird.

When I think of "contempt," I get a picture in my head of a spoiled old aristocratic lady, with her nose sticking up in the air and all kinds of disdain for everyone "below" her. Then, when I picture her saying "contempt", she overpronounces the pt, spraying her listener with a light mist of spit. I know exactly what you mean though. "Affluent" is like that for me, and several more...
