Why is it that all christians always assume that I am a christian?  I've had a few (too many) christians come by my door and trying to sell me books and whatever about christianity.  and they go on about how it will help me understand the bible and bring me closer to god.  I am a little irritated with that assumption.  And it goes to show the

Actually the ones who come to your door arent Christian, they are Johovahs Witnesses, which are often mistaken for Christians. They infact do not follow "the Bible" they have their own that was written by the guy that began their religion. They assume you are Christian, because they want you to be...they recruit alot of Christians by handing out their papers that "help you understand" the Bible and explain why you should be using theirs.
