Names

Someone once told me that you can tell American writing from most other countries from their names.

They were right. American writers make up the most ridiculous names.

Philosophically, what is a name? I suppose to Americans, a name is something unique, an imprint that defines the touted individuality. I grew up being the only person with my name ( Read more... )

No no, personal amusement, not at you! It reminded me because of the timing where I become exasperated and then look down. You yourself literally had nothing to do with it, it was just using the name just reminded me of that example. Sorry, sorry ( ... )

Ah, I'm blind, aren't I? I really should look at names. Sees the irony that I missed. Whoops. 'M gonna go hide in a corner now.

I have foot in mouth syndrome, if you haven't noticed. It gets worse when I'm tired, and sometimes I say things that at the time I think gee, that must be the most insightful thing to have come from my brain! Ah, no, not good? yeah.

I had the same experience with the film. I guess it's something that you have to have a mindset to understand.

I took Japanese in high school, the level one comprehension exam, but when I attended junior college first it was self study only for Japanese. That made keep up a fail.
