Thanks. I have heard of it but only in passing (but I'll definitely check it out now.) I'm especially interested because WWII is one of those times where you can "safely justify" a lot of weapons R&D because it was against the Nazi's, up until you look at the overkill revenge-bombing of Dresden with incendiaries and the never-ending debate of using atomic weapons on Japan. Thanks for the compliment and suggestion.

Hi, I wrote the article on Meshkati and really enjoyed reading your reaction to it. I think what got lost in a lot of comments and maybe I should have emphasized it more was that Meshkati was designing technologies with multiple applications, B-2 being one of them. I think you highlight that tension really well here and raise some great questions too. Copenhagen, by the way, is a beautiful play. Thanks to your commenter for suggesting it. I read it way back when and will flip through it again now. Thanks for reading and keep in touch.

Wow, thanks for coming by and checking out my little blether on you article, Amar. Upon reading some of Meshkati's other posts, its learned that he worked more on the fly-by-wire and error correction systems... which are pretty benign applications in the grand scheme of things. Yet still he knows that tech makes a nearly unmanageable plane possible. Sorry your comments section became a rather distraught free-for-all (nature of the internet I guess.) Thanks again for visiting and all the best! I'll be sure to come by and check out the series as it progresses. Thanks again for doing it!
