Inez is the winner, for my money. You can't fuck with those whining slow attack guitar leads and those fucking blue notes she hits on those stretched out cries.
Although, I like Bettye's pizzicato strings and indusrial-ass disco drums. I don't know... if it's a cage match, I gotta go with Inez.

Shit, actually, my new fav is the Bettye version Jill posted. That simmering tension is like worse than watching a movie where the girl is maybe going to kill michael douglas. Awesome!
