Oscar Time!

Ok I'm a dork and even though I've seen like 10 movies this year or something, I still love the Oscars. It's just wonderful, narcissistic fun. Soooo...because I have some lovely Oscar memories and am doing jackshit tonight, I'm gonna type a running commentary of the Oscars, so let's get it started!

I just watched a scrambled version of the Oscars... scrambled like a porn channel, you know, because I don't pay for that particular channel. I was kinda asking myself the same questions... what the hell was P-FuckOffMoron doing there? Or PRINCE?! Hmm. Presenters or not, I ask... how are these idiots relevant ( ... )

Prince was great...learn to read bitch! I love the thought of you watching a scrambled version of the Oscars like some creepy old man. We film buffs are creepy, we must stay true to form!

I was slightly disturbed to see Jay-Z and P. Diddy at the Oscars.

I saw Sideways, Finding Neverland, Million Dollar Baby, and the Aviator. I never made my way to see Phantom of the Opera, which is a shame b/c it's my all time favorite production EVER. I just figured they'd bastardize it. anyway, Finding Neverland was absolutely amazing and I'm glad it won anything at all. I'm rather glad that Scorsese didn't win, because if he had, it would have been the Academy making up for a snub and not because the film was great. Clint Eastwood really did deserve that Oscar. and I was irritated with Hilary Swank's speech because she had already won an Oscar, why is she going through the same "I'm just a poor girl from a trailer.." bullshit?! you already beat Annette Bening once, be graceful and don't blab on about how you "never thought this would happen." it happened once already.

woooooooo long post!

hahaha, good call on Hilary Swank...i thought it was bullshit when she beat out Bening the last time and I don't like her, she annoys me for some reason

HA! My highlights was busting a gut over P-Diddy struggle thru his lines. And Chris Rock asking the ghetto folk what's their favorite flicks....White Chicks!!!!

Otherwise, this was a pretty lame year. Probably LOTR is not running anymore. *sigh*

i dont know how lame the year was b/c i hardly saw anything, but it did seem quite tame...i can't figure out if that's b/c im out of the loop or b/c it was truly quiet
