Two questions:

I actually hate questions like this, but since I asked it, I suppose I have to answer. Changes from moment to moment, but a lyric that I've liked a lot and doesn't really lose it's power for me over time is
"It’s so sad no one saw it coming
The paper said that he hit the ground running"
From Bad Religion's "Broken", because it evokes very particular imagery with very vague language. Subtle, but kinda deep. I love that stuff, and because of things like this I think BR's got some of the best lyrics in the biz. Music's not half bad, either, but it's the lyrics that keep me coming back, as there is any number musicians whose voices or instrumentation I think is better.
