1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? Left this continent, expressed my love for somebody sincerely, worked a job, snorted lines (of crushed pills), got in a car crash, made a teacher and my dad cry (from an essay i wrote), quit smoking weed, started smoking cigarettes, enjoyed school, cried for myself, cried for love

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? yes (to be a vegetarian). i will make more for this year. it is a good excuse to make yourself a better person.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? my mom's cousin's daughter

4. Did anyone close to you die? no

5. What countries did you visit? Thailand, Cambodia, Laos

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? more freedom from parents.. I'm pretty content

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? staying out all night with maayan, all of my trip to SE Asia, seeing Richard after 5 months of silence, kissing him and loving him.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? expressing my feelings more (still struggling but i'm improving)

9. What was your biggest failure? not communicating

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? i got a spider bite that sucked, and then a three month cold type thing

11. What was the best thing you bought? buddha statue, plane tickets to SE Asia

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? my own

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? my own

14. Where did most of your money go? cds and food

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? going to SE Asia! going to bumbershoot, english class, seeing richard, going to chicago

22. Did you fall in love in 2003? I'm not sure when it happened

23. How many one-night stands? none... but one several night stand

24. What was your favorite TV program? don't know don't care!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? i wouldn't say hate

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? guided by voices, menomena, sonic youth, velvet underground

28. What did you want and get? love, respect, soberiety

29. What did you want and not get? sex

30. What was your favorite film of this year? i heart huckabees. also, waking life, but that didn't come out this year

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 17, was gonna see the presidents of the USA play, but venue problems arose and we rented beavis and butthead do america.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? i am immeasurably satisfied right now!!

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? dickies or jeans, long sleeve shirt with tshirt over, jacket, converse or asics, scarves, bum gloves, rings.

34. What kept you sane? writing, meditating, talking

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Issac Brock

36. What political issue stirred you the most? bullshit elections (michael moore and bush both suck and kerry is an idiot).

37. Who did you miss? richard

38. Who was the best new person you met? katy, drew, both sam's, andrew... most of my friends actually...
