Come to the nowhy_porque comm. We're nice and don't bite, plus you get infos and can say whatever you want. ;)
I personnally agree with you. That comment did sound stupid. I'm not too big on tattoos either, if I ever had one it'd be really small.
But yeah, sadly, a lot of Strokes comms or forums are dictatorships and you can't really speak your mind without being lashed at immediaty. It's quite sad that some people have a need to rule everything, even other people's opinions. Come and join our comm, I swear you won't regret it. ;)
BTW, I'm a co-mod of nowhy_porque, and also the mod of THIS comm. I feel bad this place kinda died out during the hiatus, but yeah nowhy_porque is where it's at. We didn't get a proper promotion around the block, though, because of those same controlling bitches who would like to keep the fandom in the dark over the existence of a place in the Strokes fandom where you can actually say what you think these days. Hah

This sounds like utter bullshit. I can't imagine Julian telling a fan her tattoo is more "legit" than any other (unless he was high or being sarcastic). Julian seems a little uncomfortable with that level of fandom from what I've seen/heard, so I just find this all a bit ridiculous.
I totally agree, and actually on her first picture (the one which I got removed from facebook) another person said something like "I'm sure Julian would be nice about a tattoo whether he liked it or not."
And the tattoo girl said "Do you even know Julian? I love the guy, but he doesn't have a problem snubbing." As if to say, if her tattoo really WAS ugly and lame, HE would tell her. And the fact that he says it's "legit" means that it is. He couldn't possibly just be acting polite.
I saw her tattoo. Not for nothing, it's really fucking ugly. It looks like a 5-year-old scrawled it on her side. From what I've seen, he's very sweet with his fans. He would never say anything negative to a fan about their tattoo. She's kind of demented.
It is a pretty ridiculous video. I don't know why anyone would feel the need to grab someone's ass like that... Well, actually I do know why they would FEEL the need, but to actually DO it is just... WOW.
It's on one of her earlier posts. He's not taking a photo with her, he's taking a photograph with someone else. She basically stood in front of Jules & another fan as they were having their picture taken. So fucking weird, especially considering she is claiming they spent so much time together. She's bogus.
