There's a band called The Arcade Fire. There's also a band called Amusement Parks On Fire. It just amused me that their names share the same theme.

What's with all the sirens in Oxford? There aren't normally this many, and I've been able to hear sirens of various kinds almost continually for about 10 minutes now. It's a little worrying.

Phoned my mum to make sure my dad hadn't gone to London today. All is ok. Also my sister and her husband went into London this morning, but weren't caught up in anything. Now they're just stranded waiting for Victoria to reopen.

I realise it probably clashes with Reading and lots of you might either not know them or not like them, but I really really wanna go and it'd be good to have someone to go with.

This morning I was looking for a hairclip and I found a pair of earrings I forgot I had, so I wore them.
Just now, there was a trailer on Channel 4 for a programme called Sugar Rush and one of the girls in it was wearing the same earrings.
