Hey, so this past weekend I went to my first-ever technical conference. Keynote speakers included the Dean of Engineering from MIT, some guy from the National Nuclear Security Agency, this dude from Texas who talked about hurricanes... and I forget some of the others. School: Monday morning was the first day of Finals for Spring quarter. I started one of mine at 7:30 and was done with the other by 10:30 @_@. Liz just finished her last final today. Go summer vacation!

Today I made templates in excel to help me process the data that my resonance stuff was collecting. It's exactly the same sort of work that I did at NIST, except now it's for experiments that I actually designed myself.

I wonder how those guys are doing? Maybe I should write them a letter?

Yesterday I made a program to write another program to be run by a third program, which I'm only using because a fourth program that I've been using for months has run out of things it can do.

Oh, grad school.

I think the worst part of getting in fights with my wife is those first couple minutes afterwards, when all I really want to do is find someone else to bitch to about it, and having to hold back because I know that in a few hours we'll have forgiven each other and I won't want to have given someone the wrong impression.
