So today is primary day in Arizona, and things are vicious. Everyone has been hit by scandal, everyone is funded by shady groups, and there are more campaign signs than I've seen for any election, ever.

dan stayed out of his son's campaign until a few days ago, but there's no question his name recogition and father's connections won him his unbelievable funding.

I've seen some of these on CNN. For some reason the McCain one made me the most angry. Whereas I just laughed at the gun-toting chick. "Ooooh, I'm tough, daddy."

Most political commercials have just seemed ... more off than usual lately.

You'll be thrilled to know that the Pam GOrdon commercial made it to TV here in Australia. On a satritical programme about election advertsing. Unfortunately, it didnt do a lot to dispel the myth that a fair proportion of the US public are the sort of people who would elect a representative on the basis of being a good shot.
