{The words forming on the page are neat and curly; quite the contrast for anyone who's seen the disjointed figure penning them.}

Hello?

Is someone out there? Can everyone really read this? It seems strange that you could. But it is sort of nice, at the same time. Freeing.

I've never seen anything as bright as this place. Or people so charming and ( Read more... )

[[OOC: moe_rapier posts the forecasts every Saturday in her journal. :) Also, Bridge is good friends with the other gal named Doll, so he's a little confuzzled. XD]]

Doll... welcome to Edensphere. I'm Bridge!

This is the first time I know of that it's rained chess pieces. It's a real pain...

{OOC: Ah, I see, thanks. ^^ ...And I was hoping to confuse somebody when I found out about Doll #1. >w<}

Hello, Bridge. I hope this doesn't become a habit.. I like regular rain.

[[OOC: No problemo!]]

Yeah, I hope so, too. I'm not sure how long it's going to last; most of the time when bizarre things like this happen, it can go on for days. But the weather forecast did say it's only supposed to rain for today, so let's hope it's correct. ^^

Hello, Doll! Things are usually pretty confusing when you first arrive, so don't worry. I'm Cara, by the way.

Stitches? You didn't get hurt hatching, did you?

Hello, Cara.

No, I didn't get hurt. Just a loose stitch. It's not like something's fallen off.

[She's going o.o but doesn't want to be rude.]

Oh. Um, does stuff fall off often?

I don't really remember how often. I just know it's annoying, and I would like to keep it from happening. Not everyone likes being dismembered all the time.

Your- stitches? The goo got under your skin? Are you injured in some way?

Ah- pardon me. I am Will, and one of the Sphere's medics; if you're hurt I can help you.

So this hasn't happened to anyone else, then? I'm okay, it just feels strange to me.

So you're a doctor, Will? I could still use your help, then! You would know where to find a needle and thread, correct?

pompous_today July 24 2009, 18:14:30 UTC
Yes, I am a doctor- and of course we have the kind of needle and thread you use to close up wounds on Medical Island, but- hmmm.

Usually if cocoon goo was getting under someone's skin, it would be cause for concern.

{There is a pause before the written response appears.}

Oh. ..Oh, dear. Should I come and see you then, Doctor? You would know what to do.

{Because she rightly believes Will must be a mad scientist of some sort. Perhaps with a ragdoll or two of his own creation.}

Yo, Doll! Name's Skulls.

Hello, Skulls. Are you a skeleton, by chance?

{Likes him already, just by the sound of his name.}

Uh...No. But dat'd be cool, yo!

droppedastitch July 24 2009, 19:25:20 UTC
Oh. It would be, yes. I haven't seen a single skeleton since I got here. Mostly humans.

Hi, Doll, I'm Dani.

The chess pieces are new. And really annoying, I can't even go outside without getting clonked on the head.

Hello, Dani.

The guard who led me here was kind enough to let me wear his helmet for that. It was very nice.
