I'm so bored, and I should never ever be up this late writing, but I finished my story for my final AP English project. It will consist of this story and a painting in its final state. I'm pleased with him as of now, and I'm mostly going to post him because I want my friends in the class to see him and comment without having to send it to each of ( Read more... )

:-D As long as you like and enjoy the story, I find the mistakes to be weightless. But I thank you for pointing such things out. As I said, I shouldn't write at 1:30 in the morning when I just got home from a day long arts festival and am pumping caffeinated tea through my veins to keep me awake. :-D lol.

The best part about this project is that it's called "putting in all together" and if one's read all the books we read this year in AP English, and looks closely, there are elements from 3 different novels in this story I have here. ;) Great Gatsby, of course, and then the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, and A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. Why I chose such a plan for my project, I don't know, but I think the plot turned out nicely. hehe.

Thank you for your comment, Sarah, it is greatly appreciated!!

Aw, thank you! I <3 Fitzgerald so much. I was hoping that I could make it sound somewhat like the Great Gatsby sounds, just to keep it more closely related to that novel. Glad people like it.

I love Fitzgerald, too.

I especially liked your last paragraph. It gave me the chills...in a good way, of course *wink*.
