Japan blog - day 7 - arrival in Tokyo
Well our time in Kyoto had been great, but now it was onto to Tokyo! We made our way to Kyoto Station in the morning to catch the bullet train to Tokyo. Once again the bullet train proved it high standards by arriving to the second of its scheduled time. Japan blog - day 6 - Kinkaku-ji (Golden Temple), Tales Of Vesperia film and last day in Kyoto
Well this is the last day in Kyoto before heading to Tokyo for a week. The weather was not the greatest, but we decided to go temple viewing anyway and hoped the rain would go off.

Japan blog - day 5 - Kobe & Tetsujin 28 statue official opening
If you a lifesize replica of Tetsujin 28/Gigantor is being officially unveiled whilst you are in Japan, then it is only polite to go. The statue was brilliant as expected, but there was also cosplayers, presentations and huge crowds for it. Japan blog - day 3 - Manga Museum & Heian shrine
Up early today to find out it was raining! Rain is odd in Japan though, as it usually remains hot and there is no wind. As umbrellas are quite cheap and widely available, everyone (and I mean everyone) has them on the street, so everyone still wear t-shirts, shorts etc. So raining doesn`t dampen then day so much as it does in England, even when ( Read more... ) -

Tomorrow I fly off to Japan for two weeks, spending one week in Kyoto and another in Tokyo.
I'll do a blog while I am there, so keep an eye for it in the next couple of days. All manner of random anime stuff, Japanese sights and just general Far Eastern weirdness will be posted. -
