It is very sad that Livejournal has pretty much died. And really there's nothing worthwhile to replace it. Facebook is simply a horror. The internet as we knew it has more or less come to an end.

Chad, even though I've mostly been away from LJ, this news still saddens me. I totally understand though--I know I should probably do the same, but something always stops me.

Still, it was an honor to be privy to your musings and opinions. I'm glad you'll still be active on the internet, but it feels like with you leaving LJ, an era--for me--really is dying now. You backed me up in my own comment threads, and really helped make this place seem like my internet home away from home. And our connection here really did much to enrich our friendship.
