Maybe I am a sentimental dope, because it actually does hurt me to type this, but...I'm going to delete this blog.

I think you already know about my various online presences, I'm now following yours, I think. I agree, it is sad. There is nothing quite like the community here, though I have found myself doing what I did here-making new online friends and acquaintances quite randomly-on Twitter.

Chad, I really wish you wouldn't delete your blog. You can leave it here even if you never update. Or crosspost. Something.

I know LJ isn't the hot spot anymore, but it's still my home. And I would be very sad not to have you in my home. But, you're always welcome here.

If you are interested in alternatives to deletion, I have a half-assed Python script that sets all LJ entries to friends-only.
