Dana sent me a "care package" that I received in the mail yesterday. She's the best. I got tons of candy, pajama pants, a shirt, plus other little goodies, and a check for $200. Blue hair is awesome! Blue is my favorite color. I can't wait to see your hair when you do it. Are you going to do part of it in blue or are you talking about all of it?

I'll be sure to keep your grandfather in my thoughts and prayers about his surgery.

I don't know, I think I just want some dark blue streaks all over it. I think I'm going to see if one of the girls at school will do it. My roots are sooooo terrible right now, I need to dye it anyway. I'm ashamed!
Thank you for keeping my grandfather in your thoughts. Hopefully everything will turn out well like it did for your dad. I'm really glad he's okay, by the way. Come over soon!

I am feeling a little better all of a sudden, and thought I would check out lj. I can' t wait to see your hair, I think blue streaks will be awesome! I am sorry to hear about your grandfather, I will keep him in my prayers. I understand exactly what you mean about giving up on some people. I actually made a decision to do that with some people that I used to work with and I went to college with. I just felt like I kept pursuing them, and they never really retaliated emotionally, if you know what I mean... Plus, Courtney, you have lots of people that love you (like me for instance ;), and Laurel, and your family, and G, and you should put your energy into those that give back to you. My Grandma told me something this week, she said, "What you send into the lives of others, will come back into your own." She didn't really mean good stuff, she was kind of mad at my uncle when she said it. But I think it applies for every situation. You always put good out there into others' lives, so good will come back to you. No use trying to ( ... )
