Timelapse with a still camera

I'm intrigued by GBTimelapse - a (sadly) Windows only app for Canon digital cameras. The software enables images to be grabbed from a static camera at specifiable intervals and then stitched together to make a short time lapse film. I've always enjoyed time lapse stuff, and this looks like a really straightforward way to do it ( Read more... )

Ooh very nice. I particularly liked the rainbow near the end of the second one.

A Canon digicam - something like an EOS or Powershot.

Oooh, fabulous. I thought the DIGIC II models weren't actually controllable via the cable.

Any idea if it works under Wine?

Ahahahaha. I see the supported cameras list specifically does not include anything DIGIC II or DIGIC III. Arse!
