Very entertaining, great photos. I particularly like the photo of the hawk. Not quite as good as being there, I'm sure, but thanks for the vicarious enjoyment! ; )

Did you see the ablatross/albatri? I love them! I would very much like to see some for real.

Yep, we even had a very cross one who completely didn't care that her nest was right in the middle of the path we were walking on, and was quite insistent that we were the ones that needed to make the detour.

How close did you manage to get for the various big scaley things?

Usually a couple of feet away - but sometimes within a few inches - at one point, we even had one crawl over my shoe.
