just went to jb hifi today after work, i'd been meaning to get another copy of blueline medics's new album 42:19, considering this as my staple present to anyone for any reason this year, such a good album. and also nick called me and told me the new, sorry not really new, but the only ben birchall album so far ever to make it to the shelves of

BEN BIRCHALL! I didn't think anyone else knew him. I heard/saw Three Minute Revolution on Rage aaaages ago (2004?) and thought it was really good, but then couldn't find anything - got "Snuh?" noises when I asked at JB, etc.

nick was a big klinger fan, and i liked em too, and after klinger we started following ben solo, which became the new klinger - the corrections. i've been seeing him play / recording his gigs for years now! lol can't believe we haven't stumbled upon this yet.

that's how i met sherri, remember? hovercrafts (feat. dave mcgann on guitar/vox in both hovers and corrections) and the corrections gig @ ding dong back in october '04.
