Glad it finally went through. What did you and fey sacrifice to the city god to get this one? Congrats!

Heh, apparently we had to sacrifice $26k. This city like cash it seems.

We're gonna make a special website for just the house soon. We can document all our work and show everyone what we're doing.

Actually, there are plenty of houses that are $100k and up, but they're either in very nice neighborhoods (and huge) or they're outside the city. But in general Pittburgh property is much lower than Hawaii. Actually, I think it's lower in general compared with most of the country. Pittsburgh is one of the few cities were I think you can do real estate like this. I think DC is more expensive that Hawaii at this point. It's really bad over there. Hella expensive cause it's so small.

But yah,. $26 is cheap. But it's still all the money we had. It's funny that we bought a house and paid it off before our parents though. Heh.

Easy now feydreams June 7 2005, 18:46:57 UTC
The house won't be guest ready for at least a month. And we're going to be in Indonesia for half of August, so we won't be able to have guests until September. And we'll prolly be in Hawaii for X-Mas. *crossing fingers*

Besides, Zis will be with us until August too and he'll prolly be staying with us for at least half that time.

Later this year is good.

Yup, he's going to be helping us and GnE with the houses. Plus his absence will give Judy and Demitri some time off from him. It'll be good for them to have time alone.

Bummer, didn't get to see Gregg and Eli while they were here. We walked past your folks' house tonight and wondered.

Congratulations.

Homes for all. Too bad we still gotta pay for ours.

No just all our money. feydreams June 7 2005, 18:50:55 UTC
Yah? My dad said people were asking him if she was my sister. Some people seemed to think we looked a like. I would have liked some of our friends to have been able to put their two cents in on that. I think no way, but you never know.

Homes indeed. Is yours making your bank account cry the way ours is? We were tempted to not go through with it at the last minute just so we could keep our money. It's like it never existed now. We couldn't spend it before, cause we were saving for the house, and then we bought the house, so we're pretty much at square one again. Broke. *sucks*

I'd like to see your new apt. How long is your lease for? Will you guys still be there come December/January?
