Shizaya.

Something happens to Shizuo and he can see the "red strings of fate", seeing who belongs with who (Celty/Shinra is a must, but other than that... heh have fun anons) and he unfortunately follows his own string to find it tied to Izaya's own finger.

Now he is hellbent on trying to fight destiny, only to end up falling for Izaya in the process.

I either red a doujinshi or a fic about this.

Izaya wanted to make Shizuo his own so he some how gets the ability to see the strings. The shorter the strings are the sooner the people get together. Izaya uses a pair of scissors or something when Shizuo is asleep in the classroom and and cuts both of their strings and ties them together. Izaya leaves the room.

Shizuo wakes up and smirks going , "Heh, I knew it all along...you're string was the one mine was attached to in the beginning anyway."

Or something like that.

Oh cool, I kind of hope it was a doujinshi... cause if you can find the link, that would be amazing~!! (though I kind of like the idea of a more reluctant Shizuo like in my request haha!)

OMG, THAT DOUJINSHI OTL OTL. I found it on pixiv before, and believe me, I was going to write this request ;A;. I LOVE YOU OP ;A;.

(B-b-but I thought in that dj, Izaya wanted to be with Shizu-chan so he kind of... cut Shizu-chan's red string which was attached to another girl's and tied it with his. And then angst and smut ensue ;w;. I really want someone to write that. I mean... THE ANGST /sobs)

I had never seen the doujinshi before I made this request ^^;;

Though the angst one sounds promising too, I'll go with whatever the writer!anon who decides to pick this up goes with <333 I was, for some reason, wanting to see it done with Shizuo being the only one who can see the string... xD
