Shizuo is sick and Kasuka takes care of him. Fluffiness ensues. I'd prefer if this takes place when their older, but anon can change that if the muse begs it of them.

The limo halted in the lower level of the parking garage beneath Kasuka's apartment complex. His agency had long ago arranged a special, private entrance just for him - that way he wouldn't have to pass through the front gate of the complex and be mobbed by the paparazzi every time

Thermometer, check. Fever reducer/pain pills, check. Cough medicine, check. Kasuka eyed the pile of medical supplies on the counter. He had better check the cupboard and make sure he had enough milk for when Shizuo was able to take in some nutrition. He'd have to have his driver go out to the store again

LOL. Yes, you got me. SORRY I BROKE THE REALISM! But there is a DEEP and COMPLICATED reason for this!
Not really. But I instinctively chose Fahrenheit because there are special temperatures in F that everyone knows (in AMERICA!). These include 98 degrees (boy band, normal body temp) and 104 degrees (widely recognized as a really bad high fever). I unconsciously used the number that had the greatest emotional impact to me in the context of the culture I grew up in

I don't see how using fahrenheit in the story can make it bad. Even though they use celsius in Japan, it is just a fanfic, and it is for you to decide whether you wanna use this or that..
I'm from Denmark myself, we use celsius, and I don't know anything about fahrenheit or how much 104 fahrenheit is, but I just googled it and found out.. 40 degrees Celsius.. That is, like you say with 104 degrees fahrenheit, a really bad fever. Just saying if you wanted to use celsius next time like you mentioned (;

You're welcome! It seemed to be one of the few prompts i had confidence in writing....I'm glad somebody is reading and enjoying this.
My Shizuo is coming out as a complete tsundere. It's cute for a while, but to avoid the same pattern over and over again i'm introducing some angst! and some plot! into the fluff....I hope that's okay??

...Japan uses Celsius, not Fahrenheit. :| (to be honest, I only noticed because my country doesn't use Fahrenheit either.)
