Does OP mind sci-fi AU with a slight Kida/Mikado (or only UST) as long as I keep Shizuo and Izaya as Mikado's fathers? (Or I can put another pairing into it or no pairing at all.) I have a plot idea and I don't want to ruin the prompt.

I'll start working on this when OP replies (and doesn't say sci-fi is a big no-no), but it will take some time, because I'm busy IRL (and to be honest I'm a very slow writer).

OP here, and I don't mind at all! I originally wanted a crack!fic but your idea for a sci-fi AU sounds way more interesting. Oh, write them at your own pace when you're free as I'm in no rush as we're all busy we RL sometimes. Thanks!

Haha, I loved it! The sci-fi setting is pretty interesting and I love how you write descriptions and Mikado. Your English are more than okay as everything flows so natural. Take your time with your essays and whatnot <3
