An idea that jumped me when I read this cute prompt >oIt wasn't such a big deal, he told himself - for what seemed to be the umpteenth time. After all, it was only a stupid day like any other, the only difference being that he was officially one year older. Humans sure were interesting, deciding that aging should be celebrated at all. Sometimes, he thought bitterly, he wished he was more like them. He shook his head, immediately rejecting that self-pitying thought as he began to take a walk. For some reason, observing the people of Ikebukuro wasn't all that much fun this time. Watching them laugh and be happy themselves while ignoring his inner turmoil... well, he supposed it was typical that they were unaware of their surroundings and especially the people therein, it was just like them: human. Stubbornly, he repressed the pang of jealousy that threatened to bubble up as he made his way ( ... )

Really,we need more fluffy Shizaya like this!I don't see anything wrong(or OOC) with Izaya being a little "cute" instead of annoying!He can't be always so...full of himself.

Writernon here. Thank youuu! I thought the same thing, he's not only 100% annoying (but probably close xDDD) Especially after reading one of anni fiesta's translations where Izaya is jealous because everyone in the chat had some hotpot with friends except for him, daww!
