Shizuo and Izaya were friends in middle school - but parted ways on bad terms. Eight years later, Izaya is injured badly in an accident and falls comatose. Months before the accident, Izaya made Shizuo his "Power of Attorney." (A person in charge of keeping someone on life support.) Shizuo is called from his life away from from Izaya and asked to make the decision if Izaya doesn't wake up within a certain time limit.
During this time Shizuo is living with the Orihara family, where everyone is trying to show Shizuo what Izaya became as they were apart, trying to convince him to let him live if Izaya doesn't wake up within the timelimit. Without Shizuo's knowing he ends up falling in love with Izaya.
Whether Izaya wakes up and Shizuo tries to have a relationship with him or not is up to A!A, but please no: "Shizuo/Vorona" - Tom/Vorona is okay.
Bonus: Vorona or Namie is Shizuo's bitch/cold hearted lawyer.

Shizuo had always disliked hospitals.
There was something coldly clinical, incredibly impersonal in the whitewashed halls that seemed to stretch on forever: floor after floor of nearly identical rooms, each containing a patient that was injured or ill or dying. It was an uncomfortable feeling, with the air of suffering pressing in on his senses while the scent of disinfectant and cleaning supplies stung his nose, giving the impression of uncaring ambivalence towards the hospital's patients in that their presence within the building was so easily wiped away once they had left.

I love your writing style, I love that you made both Vorona AND Namie lawyers (I'm assuming Vorona is Shizuo's lawyer and Namie is Izaya's lawyer). Thank you for including my bonus!

Since I have you here and so that this doesn't necessarily count as "chatting," I was wondering how much into the legal side you'd like me to get...? Or would you want it to be a balance between Shizuo+emotion and legal aspects or more just on Shizuo+emotion? Just asking because my father's a lawyer who does wills and I'm comfortable with the PoA idea since he's handled cases with them before. I can go either way, but since this is your fill, I figured that you would like the overriding vote. ♥
Eh... I've done a fair amount of fills, I guess. XD;; I've been told that I'm most known for A Stranger Country, Shadows Beneath a Midnight Sun, A Baser State of Nature, and Witching Hour Comforts, though...?
