I am looking to buy a piano, a baby grand or maybe an upright. Anybody know anybody who is selling one? Or have any advice on buying one? I'd recommend an upright or spinet (sp?) The "spinet" is similar to the upright with a shorter back, its more compressed and that makes the sound a little less full but the one I have at my moms house can easily fill the house with music. Baby grands are lovely and sound lovely but I've been told that when they go out of tune they cost much more to tune than an upright or "spinet" Local papers always have people selling there pianos, moving it will be the most difficult, then tuning it but once your in business it will be WONDERFUL!!! And as for lessons I would call Owens Music I go through them for all my piano needs.
